Alecia + Jack {Austin/Dripping Springs Wedding Photographer}
Thursday, September 23rd, 2010Albums. I love them. I love looking at them and reliving the story it tells. So when the time comes to design an album from a clients wedding or portrait session I’m cracking knuckles and getting down to serious business. Designing comes with restrictions such as coming to terms with the fact that the 1000 images I may have photographed at a wedding simply won’t fit in a 12×12 40 page book. And when you love this pic, oh and that one, and MUST have that one in it …well, it becomes a task of making decision after decision, taking a large myriad of images and telling a story of love. In the past I offered coffee book style albums. I discovered they were, at the time, the most perfect album for my style because it was modern and different. However, as my photography style emerged I realized the need to switch companies and go with flush mount albums instead. Flush Mount allows me to design my books with my precious landscape style images printed on a flat 2mm mounted page and not lose ANY of the image in what we call the “gutter.” HAPPY DANCE!! The gutter is the area of a page that gets lost into the folds/binding of a traditionally bound book, like what you’d normally see in any book or magazine. Now I have the freedom to take a beautiful image and display it up to 24 inches wide! Yes, that’s TWO FEET of awesomeness. Kiss Kiss!
My current album design is from Alecia + Jack’s wedding which was held at Memory Lane Event Center in beautiful Dripping Springs,Tx. This album will be 12×12 and the size has yet to be determined. I’m just not sure I’ll be able to stop at picture number 845
What can I say about this couple other than they are divine. Alecia is the aunt of my 2010 Senior rep Kayla and it was so much fun being around this entire family. They were so relaxed the entire day, had an abundance of tear jerker and smiling moments and the last photo captured was of them jumping into the POOL in their full wedding attire! I hope the tuxedo rental place isn’t reading this hehe. Congrats on starting your new life together and I really wish you were alot closer than North Carolina now, but I’m so happy you chose Keepsake Images to capture your wedding memories.
Venue : Memory Lane Event Center

Alecia & Jack opted to do a First Look before the ceremony. A true happy moment reserved for just the two of them.

I know what you’re thinking, but he was just playing fair with his grooms cake because she nailed him first
