A lovely wedding at Barr Mansion {Austin Wedding Photographer}
Thursday, May 12th, 2011EVERYTHING was so beautiful about Rachael & JD’s wedding journey. It began with a vintage engagement themed session at Duchman Family Winery several months back, then a FABULOUS bridal session at Lustre Pearl and the big wedding day was held at Barr Mansion in Austin. Rachael and I spent many moments together texting and emailing, all the while giggling and daydreaming about how beautiful and picture perfect it would be. We are alot alike. We both love a good bargain, both LOVE to DIY and both put 150% into any task at hand. Knowing that Rachael and JD were leaving no wedding detail untouched had me waiting on pins and needles for this day. Oh…and she told me she was going to have mason jars on her tables. SWOON. I love mason jars! I know family and friends have been patiently awaiting this post, so without further ado..here it is
(Since this post is photo heavy, its going to take some time to load, but I promise its worth the wait.)

The moment they’ve been waiting for. The First Look.

I adore the way he looks at her..so in love.
Barr Mansion is breathtakingly beautiful. JD and Rachael put everything personal into making their wedding day picture perfect.
Here are the amazing boutique fans I designed for the ceremony. Perfect for an outdoor wedding so the guests can fan themselves
From their engagement session I designed their sign-in guestbook. I love all the personalized well-wishes.
Quite possibly the two most adorable kids I’ve ever seen at a wedding. I wanted to just kiss them and take them home with me.
The beautiful ceremony site at Barr Mansion
swoon! This is how every couple should feel after they say I do. *sigh*
i love how they’re lost in the moment while everyone celebrates around them. The expressions are priceless!
Onto the beautiful reception…this is where all the detailed eye candy unfolds.
How else do you end such a beautiful night than with two amazing people on the dance floor enjoying the last song of the night.
Rachael and JD, you inspire me. You are such caring, faithful, loving individuals and I’m so happy you found each other and that you found ME! I am so honored to have been there to document your wedding day. May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together. And when life gets you down and you need a pick me up, just remember the theme of the wedding..”put a bird in it!”
