Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

With under a month left to go until Mother’s Day this year this is a perfect time to get portraits taken of Mom’s little loves to wrap up with a pretty bow as a gift.

We offer all standard print sizes, large prints, Gallery Wraps, Brag Books and beautiful mounted 5×7 prints in a Dream Box that will completely win her heart (again!)

This special will run thru April 23rd and includes children ages 0-18.

Wouldn’t she love unwrapping a Mothers Day Dream Box filled with beautiful images of her children? I know I would :)

Preserve your wedding memories in style

Monday, April 5th, 2010

For the last seven years I’ve designed custom coffee books for my wedding clients and each time they arrive in a perfectly sealed package, I open them with delight. I adore the vibrant colors and the modern sleek way they’re preserved with the couples names on their book jacket. Two albums arrived a few days ago and here are a few photos of them. For 2010, I have decided to offer TWO album choices  : coffeebook and flushmount. Flushmount albums are seamless and each page is printed on 2mm thick pages. Unlike the coffeebook style, flushmount albums lay completely flat so it allows me more flexibility with image placement.  A single image can be shown across TWO sides without losing any of the image in the spine. They are distinctly different in design, but both gorgeous. My collections allow you to choose one or the other. You can view more of both styles on my website under the Galleries.

spring has sprung in central texas

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Happy Spring to you! Now that the new fabulous blog and website has launched I thought it would be sweet to start it off by sharing photos of the beautiful landscape in my part of Texas. Last year we didn’t have many spring flowers due to the drought, but this spring has certainly made up for it. There have been many days where I’ve been driving along and want to take a moment to “smell the roses”, but that’s not a good idea with a toddler along a busy interstate. I finally had my opportunity and captured the beauty of spring. In the process of doing so I dropped my keys in one particular field and would likely still be there were it not for the kind strangers who helped me locate them. They too had stopped to take family pictures of their loved ones in the pretty flowers and how sweet were they to even offer to get a metal detector to find them. I was a nice shade of blush when it was all over. Still, it was worth it. Aren’t these beautiful!

If you’d like a portrait session within these flowerbeds you’ll want to book ASAP. They’ve been blooming for a few weeks now and won’t last much longer in this Texas heat that’s soon to follow. :) Imagine your cute kiddos frolicking among these. How sweet would that be!
