I’m happy to announce Keepsake Images will once again be the official team photographer for the Hays Highstepper Dance Team 2011-2012.

Life is a beautiful cycle of things. When I graduated highschool in 1993 I ventured off to college and started a new and exciting life. Here we are , almost 20 yrs down the road and my love for photography and capturing the beauty in life has brought be back in contact with friends from decades past. Meet Ruben & Maria. Ruben and I attended middle and highschool together and although we didn’t hang out in the same circle of friends, we’d always say hello in the hallways. Naturally, Facebook was the place we reunited and when they asked me to be their wedding photographer I was honored. Their wedding is next month and although its 10000 degrees outside we ventured out to Gruene, Tx, to the famous Gruene Hall near New Braunfels and with the help of Don Julio (patron) and some other drinks we set the fun mood for the day (hey, I’m not opposed to some yummy mixed drinks if its sets the couple at ease..this is after all a grown ups photo session, not the humdrum boredom of HS picture day). Note: My pictures do not come out blurry after said drinks..I have proof
