Keepsake Dream Albums
Monday, April 25th, 2011To hold your Dream Album in your hands is my final gift to every client. The wedding planning takes months, the wedding day averages 6-8 hours, editing can take upwards 3-4 weeks and the culmination of all that planning is wrapped up in one place – the wedding album. Generations of family and friends will enjoy your album so its very important to me that the craftsmanship of this book is top of the line. I’m definitely a Type A personality when it comes to my photography business. I strive for PERFECTION. Sure, its a bit obsessive, time-consuming and sometimes exhausting but at the end of the journey I’m delivering prints, gallery wraps and albums that my clients will treasure forever so they must be TO.DIE.FOR.
I sent Rachelle a quick text to let her know that I was holding her album in my hands, shortly after uploading sneak peeks of it on my facebook
She immediately rushed over to take delivery. As I stood in my kitchen trying to juggle my toddler dangling on my leg and washing dishes (because MOM is my OTHER fulltime job), Rachelle excitedly flipped through the pages and went “eeeeeee” with delight over and over again. Ah…what a FABULOUSLY SATISFYING sound! She walked around my kitchen island teary-eyed and gave me a big tight hug and said “Thank you. I have waited over 8 yrs to finally have a wedding album and it’s more than I ever dreamed it could be.”
CAN YOU PICTURE THE SMILE ON MY FACE? I felt so happy in that moment, not for myself and for reaching my goal, but for Rachelle because I know their story of love. And now they can forever share the memories of their church nuptuals with their son, family and friends. I love my job.
